Waste Characterization Study Service

The city of Stamford, Connecticut, requires a vendor to perform a one-year waste characterization study service. The buyer seeks a complete analysis of the types and quantities of disposed solid waste, including an estimated breakdown of residential waste percentages and potential subcategories. The selected vendor must conduct gate surveys to identify waste generator sectors and origins. The characterization categories must evaluate municipal solid waste, recycling, organics, wastewater sludge, special handling items, and hazardous materials. Vendors can perform the required work either onsite or offsite. The buyer accepts proposals from USA-based onshore organizations only.
