Point Emergency Broadcast Upgrade System

The government authority in Victoria, BC requires a vendor to provide a fully functional, depot-wide point emergency broadcast upgrade system that delivers clear audio and visual alerts. The contractor must integrate the system with existing fiber infrastructure where feasible, allow for future expansion, and support additional speakers and devices without full system replacement. The system must maintain fail-safe functionality during power or network outages and enable one-step activation of alarms or announcements. The vendor must ensure the system provides a minimum audible signal level of at least 15 dB above ambient noise levels, or 75 dBA, whichever is greater, at all normally occupied locations. Additionally, the contractor must equip each building and magazine in service and explosives areas with a speaker with integrated strobe indicators. Eligibility is restricted to onshore Canadian organizations only. The vendor will perform the work offsite.
