Veterinary Services

The Newton County Board of Commissioners requires a veterinarian team to provide onsite veterinary services for Newton County Animal Services in Covington, Georgia. The selected vendor must perform pre-surgical physical exams, administer anesthesia, perform at least 25 spay/neuter surgeries daily on a weekly basis, supply and transport scheduled narcotics, maintain medical records, and treat animals humanely. Eligible USA-only bidders must maintain specified comprehensive general liability, commercial automobile liability, and statutory worker's compensation insurance policies. Bidders must also comply with E-Verify requirements and certify regarding debarment and suspension matters. Bidders must submit all questions by October 07, 2026. Electronic proposals must be submitted through the Euna electronic submission portal by 9:00 AM local time on October 22, 2026. The contract term is one year, and the buyer is seeking proposals for the budget.
