Zoning Board Attorney Services

The City of Linden is requesting legal proposals from qualified individuals and firms to provide specialized Zoning Board Attorney Services to the City Zoning Board of Adjustment. The selected counsel will represent the board in all matters and litigation—including pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, settlement conferences, pre-trial motions, and trials—and may be called upon to provide other specialized legal services. Qualified onshore USA proposers must demonstrate extensive experience in planning, zoning, land use matters, and general subject matter, and must have at least ten years of experience representing Planning or Zoning Boards. Applicants must submit proposals digitally through the MuniVendor eProcurement platform by November 6, 2026, at 10:00 A.M., with all written questions submitted by email no later than October 26, 2026. Submissions must include a technical proposal detailing staff qualifications and past government experience, required notarized affidavits, tax and business registrations, affirmative action forms, and a cost proposal detailing hourly rates, flat rates, or retainers. The City will evaluate total proposal content to select the most advantageous offer in its best interest for a one-year contract term running from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027.
