Special Mount Laurel Counsel Services

The City of Linden needs qualified individuals or USA-based firms to provide Special Mount Laurel Counsel Services to advise the mayor’s office and handle offsite legal matters. Assigned counsel will handle litigation, negotiations, research, and transactional work on an as-needed basis. Eligible proposers must possess extensive experience in the subject area, trial experience in Federal and State Courts, at least ten years of experience in litigation/defense, and at least five years of experience handling matters related to Mount Laurel. Applicants must submit technical and cost proposals electronically via the MuniVendor eProcurement platform by November 6, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. Proposers must email all questions to the designated contacts by October 26, 2026. Submissions must include assigned staff qualifications, references for similar services from the past five years, mandatory compliance forms, notarized affidavits, and a detailed cost proposal outlining retainers, flat rates, or hourly billing. The City will evaluate total offer content to select the most advantageous proposal based on established factors. The resulting contract term runs from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027.
