Audit Consulting Services

The City of Linden is requesting proposals from qualified individuals and onshore U.S. firms to provide audit consulting services. The selected vendor will perform the annual audit pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:5-4, conduct an annual single audit for federal grant programs, review the annual budget, prepare annual financial and debt statements, review the deferred compensation plan, and audit municipal court, community development, and Section 8 housing funds. Proposers must have at least 15 years of auditor experience, 10 years of experience servicing governmental entities, and be both a Certified Public Accountant and a Registered Municipal Accountant. Technical proposals must include team qualifications, references from similar services in the past five years, area expertise, a cost proposal with hourly or flat rates, and mandatory forms including a Non-Collusion Affidavit and Stockholder Disclosure Certification. Offerors must submit proposals electronically through the MuniVendor eProcurement platform by November 6, 2026, at 10:00 A.M., with written questions submitted via email by October 26, 2026. The contract term runs from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, and the City will evaluate proposals based on total content to select the most advantageous offer.
