Engineering Environmental Services

The City of Linden is requesting proposals from qualified individuals and firms to provide specialized engineering environmental services at the Closed Linden Landfill located in Linden, New Jersey. The selected vendor must deliver services including construction inspections, engineering reporting, design, land use and environmental planning, mechanical design, storm and sanitary sewer work, landfill post-closure activities, as-built plans, and permit requirement reviews. Proposers must be USA-based organizations holding a valid New Jersey Professional Engineer license with a minimum of ten years of engineering experience. Offerors must submit cost proposals detailing any retainers, flat rates, or hourly billing rates, alongside technical proposals containing staff qualifications, mandatory tax and disclosure forms, and proof of extensive experience. Work will be performed onsite from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027. All questions must be submitted by email to Jessica Slawinski by October 26, 2026. Electronic proposals must be submitted through the MuniVendor eProcurement platform by November 6, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. The City will evaluate total proposal content and select the most advantageous offer based on its evaluation factors and best interests.
