Audit Services

The National American Indian Housing Council (NAIHC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, requires a qualified, responsive, and responsible audit firm to provide offsite audit and tax services for fiscal years 2026, 2027, and 2028. The selected auditor must cover all NAIHC operations, meet U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development requirements, comply with Single Audit requirements under 2 CFR 200.501(b), and deliver audited financial statements, an opinion, a management letter, and twenty bound copies of the final report. Eligibility is limited to onshore, United States organizations that comply with registration and permit requirements to practice accounting. Proposals must detail the firm's profile, auditing experience, key personnel resumes, staff hourly rates, an all-inclusive maximum fee, and federal tribal enrollment certification if applying for Indian preference. NAIHC evaluates proposals using a 100-point scale: qualifications (50 points), cost (40 points), and Indian preference (10 points).
