Contracted Assessing Services

The Town of Hancock, New Hampshire, seeks proposals from USA-based assessment companies to provide municipal contracted assessing and related support services for a five-year period. The selected provider will assist the Board of Selectmen with real property tax assessments, citizen interactions, sales analysis, tax abatement requests, property appeals testimony, and parcel adjustments using the Avitar system. Additional responsibilities include annual utility valuation reviews, four years of ongoing data collection for approximately 1,297 parcels, and fifth-year oversight of a separate vendor conducting a statistical update. Only onshore USA organizations are eligible to bid. Bidders must maintain required general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation insurance, and must submit three copies of their sealed proposal by 12:00 PM on November 9, 2026. Proposals can also be submitted digitally via email or online, and submissions must include the bidder's ability to meet minimum specifications alongside a list of assigned personnel, their qualifications, and their years of experience. The Town reserves the right to request additional data or presentations, or award the contract based on the initial offers received.
