Financial Audit Service

The Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority seeks qualified independent auditors to conduct a financial and compliance examination of its basic financial statements, supplementary information, and compliance reports. The audit must cover federal, state, and local funding sources for the year ending June 30, 2027, with estimated costs for the four following audit years. Work will be performed offsite. Eligibility is limited to USA organizations registered with the North Carolina State Board of Certified Public Accountant Examiners. Applicants must submit written questions to Haley Broadwell via email by November 2, 2026. Proposals must be submitted digitally via email or online, separated into two signed sections, with cost estimate sheets placed in a separate sealed envelope. The Authority will evaluate applicants on education, technical qualifications, governmental audit experience, audit approach, and cost requirements. The audit contract requires approval by the staff of the Local Government Commission. Progress billings are accepted up to 75% of the total fee prior to the submission of audited statements.
