The Township of North Bergen in Hudson County, New Jersey, requires legal representation across various specialties under RFQ 2027-5. The requested scope includes legal services for general litigation in state and federal courts, tax court, land use, bankruptcy law, environmental law, bond law, landlord/tenant law, labor law, administrative law, municipal law, construction law, alternate municipal court public defender, tenant advocate attorney, and conflict tenant advocate attorney. Eligible respondents include USA onshore organizations, corporations, and partnerships that comply with New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law, non-discrimination laws, and ownership disclosure statement requirements for ten percent or greater stockholders. Proposers must submit an original and one copy of their proposal physically via courier or post by Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. prevailing time. Written questions regarding the RFQ must be submitted at least five days prior to the due date. The evaluation committee will score submissions based on the RFQ requirements and relevant factors to recommend an award to the respondent that best meets the Township's needs. The contract term is one year, and payment requires signed purchase orders with detailed billing that prohibits block billing.
