Surplus Library Material Disposition Service

The Incorporated County of Los Alamos needs a vendor to provide comprehensive surplus library material disposition services onsite in Los Alamos, NM. The contractor must review, sort, and assess surplus and donated materials for resale, recycling, donation, or disposal, and operate a public bookstore for approximately 45 hours over six days per week at no cost to the library beyond physical space. Responsibilities include disposing of unsold materials appropriately, recycling unviable items at no cost to the library, giving away items of little value when appropriate, and submitting quarterly financial reports.
