General Legal Counsel Services

South Jersey Ports needs offsite general legal counsel services to represent the organization, advise the Board of Directors, CEO, and departments, attend board meetings, prepare legal instruments, and handle litigation. The solicitation is open only to USA organizations, and attorneys must hold New Jersey licensing. Proposers must submit all questions through Bid Express by November 3, 2026, at 4:00 PM EST. Final proposals are due by November 17, 2026, at 4:00 PM EST. The buyer will select a responsive proposer based on experience, qualifications, approach, and other specified factors, awarding the purchase of professional services to the lowest responsible bidder. Applicants must submit required forms, including the Vendor Code of Ethics certification, Stockholder Disclosure Certification, Chapter 25 Iran Investment certification, Debarred List Affidavit, Macbride Principles Form, and Disclosure of Investigations.
