General Financial Auditing Services

The San Marcos Unified School District seeks a qualified USA-based audit firm to provide general financial auditing services. The selected vendor must conduct a comprehensive financial audit of all District funds as of June 30, 2027, evaluate internal controls, prepare written reports on material weaknesses, and hold exit conferences in October. Additionally, the audit firm must conduct requested workshops on associated student body, cash handling, and student attendance, while remaining available throughout the year for consultation. Only USA-based organizations are eligible to submit proposals for this offsite opportunity. Interested applicants must submit all questions by November 3, 2026, and may submit their final responses digitally via email or online. The resulting contract will have a one-year term, and the District is currently requesting budget proposals.
