Housing Capital Improvements Services

The University of California, Santa Cruz (UC Santa Cruz) seeks qualified Design Professional firms to provide programming and planning services for the Oakes College Housing Capital Improvements project. The requested scope includes predesign work—such as programming and planning for new construction, redevelopment, and renovation—to increase residential hall and apartment bed capacities, renovate the Oakes Learning Center, upgrade utilities, and improve outdoor spaces. The University anticipates awarding a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with an initial three-year term, extendable by up to two additional one-year terms, with the selected team eligible to transition into an Executive Design Professional Agreement for later design phases. The project features a construction budget of approximately $275M to $300M. Onshore US organizations are eligible to apply, and candidates must show evidence of an equal employment opportunity policy.
