Description
AI GeneratedThe Government is conducting market research through a Request for Information to identify potential sources with the repair data, expertise, and capabilities to repair the C-5 Digital Computer. The targeted items provide the operator interface for the C-5 aircraft on-board embedded diagnostics system, and the required services include obsolete parts resolution and engineering support for Deficiency Reports and Material Improvement Projects. Miltope Corporation is the original manufacturer and the only known source of repair, as the Government does not own the necessary repair data or data rights. Eligible contractors must be able to furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services while ensuring replacement parts equal or exceed original quality. The Government will not reimburse participants for any expenses, and responses to this survey will be used strictly as information to evaluate company capabilities rather than as formal proposals.
