Zoning Board Solicitor Service

The Township of Florence seeks a Zoning Board Solicitor to provide legal services covering all aspects of planning, zoning, and municipal land use law. Eligible candidates must be onshore USA attorneys or law firms with at least 10 years of relevant experience as a board solicitor or appearing on behalf of at least seven applicants before land use, planning, or zoning boards. The contract period will run for one year, and the selected solicitor will perform the work onsite in Florence, New Jersey. Applicants must submit proposals detailing their proposed fee structure, hourly rates, or retainers, along with an explanation of minimum qualifications, three local government references, and designated personnel. Submissions must include one thumb drive with PDF documents and six original paper copies in a sealed envelope delivered to the Township Clerk by 10:00 AM on November 12, 2026. Applicants must also provide a Business Registration Certificate, Certificate of Employee Information Reporting, Certificate of Insurance, and Disclosure of Investment Activities with Iran.
