Bond Counsel Service

The Township of Florence needs a New Jersey licensed law firm to provide municipal bond counsel services onsite in Florence, NJ for a one-year contract term. The selected candidate must possess expertise in bond law, arbitrage rules, and municipal bond rating organizations. Eligible applicants must be onshore USA firms whose designated individual attorney has been admitted to the bar for at least ten years and holds six years of experience as an appointed municipal bond counsel. Solitary practitioners must meet the experience requirements set for a firm. Candidates must submit one thumb drive containing all required documents in PDF format alongside six original paper copies in a sealed envelope to the Township Clerk by November 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Applicants must include a proposal outlining their proposed fees or compensation schedule, an explanation of how minimum requirements are met, and at least three local government references. Submissions must also feature a Business Registration Certificate, a Valid Certificate of Employee Information Reporting, a Certificate of Insurance, and a Disclosure of Investment Activities with Iran.
