Professional Construction Management Services for Branch Jail Air Handler and Fire Alarm

The County of Volusia is soliciting Statements of Qualifications for professional construction management and general contracting services for the Volusia County Branch Jail Air Handler and Fire Alarm Project. The scope includes construction management and general contracting or CM-at-Risk delivery, incorporating preconstruction services, guaranteed maximum price development, construction drawings, technical specifications, and necessary permits. Required operational plans cover pod-by-pod phasing with Corrections, a temporary cooling plan, security protocols, and a fire alarm and smoke control cutover and fire watch plan. Eligible USA organizations must perform work onsite and ensure all subcontractors maintain matching insurance policies, including professional liability and installation floater coverages. Questions must be submitted electronically by November 19, 2026. Final proposal responses are due by December 3, 2026, at 3:00 pm EST through the OpenGov portal.
