Request for Proposals for KIPP DC School Security Equipment and Related Services

KIPP DC is soliciting proposals for a renewable master services agreement from qualified onshore US vendors to provide school security equipment and related services across eight campuses in Washington, DC. The scope includes entry-point bag/X-ray inspection systems, magnetometers, weapons detection towers, compatible AI-driven detection software, security screening supplies, gear, two-way radios, delivery, installation, warranty, calibration, repairs, and maintenance. Proposals for the AutoClear 5333DVS or equivalent must feature multi-year service agreements, onsite repair, preventive maintenance, and operator training. Proposals must include relevant experience, 2–3 references, proof of established catalog pricing under a "Discount-Off-Catalog" model, proof of woman/minority-owned status if applicable, and confirmation of ability to meet insurance requirements. Evaluation will be based on pricing (30%), responsiveness and qualifications (30%), experience and quality (20%), and past performance and references (20%).
