Town of Halifax Invitation for Bids for the Senior Center Construction Project

The Town of Halifax invites bids for the construction of a new $3.074 million, 3,450 GSF Senior Center located at 267 Monponsett Street, Halifax, MA. The required work encompasses the building construction—including a community room, offices, storage, and an unfinished kitchen—as well as sitework such as septic systems, a parking lot, hardscape, and landscaping. Filed sub-bids are requested for acoustical tile, electrical, glass and glazing, HVAC, plumbing, resilient floors, and roofing and flashing. Only US onshore organizations are eligible to bid. An optional pre-bid site walk takes place on November 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM. Bidders must deliver sealed bids to the Town Clerk at Town Hall to be time-stamped, with filed-subcontractor bids due by November 16, 2026, at 3:00 PM and General Contractor bids due by November 23, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
