Eastern Cape Department Upgrade and Maintenance of Unified Communication System

The Eastern Cape Department of Public Works & Infrastructure seeks a service provider to upgrade, support, and maintain its existing Unified Communication System (UCS) and voice services. The selected vendor will manage assessment, fault diagnosis, configuration, testing, and monitoring, while supplying and configuring nine receptionist telephones integrated with the UCS. Scope includes providing internal, inter-site, inbound, and outbound voice services with fixed mobile convergence, smart access number capabilities, geographic number portability, and an itemized telephone management system. Eligibility is restricted to legal South African entities with a functional office in the Eastern Cape, a valid ICASA license, and valid CISCO gold partnership certification. Bidders must submit original, hard-copy proposal packages into the designated bid box at the Qhasana Building in Bisho by November 24, 2026, at 11:00 am. Bids submitted electronically, late, incomplete, or by facsimile will be rejected. The contract duration is 12 months.
