Iowa Department of Administrative Services Professional Design Services for NCCF R&D Window Replacement

The Iowa Department of Administrative Services seeks professional design services for the removal and replacement of approximately 26 windows at the North Central Correctional Facility R&D Building in Rockwell City, Iowa. Scope of work includes minor exterior stucco patching and painting, interior repairs, wood trim replacement, drywall, painting, survey work, design schedule integration, and minor drawing assistance for a hazardous materials bid package. Targeted Small Businesses certified by the Iowa Economic Development Authority are encouraged to apply. An optional pre-proposal conference is scheduled for November 10, 2026, both in-person and virtually. All questions must be submitted via email by November 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM Central Time. Proposals must be split into separate Technical and Cost Proposal files and submitted through the Iowa IMPACS Procurement System by December 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM Central Time. Proposals will be evaluated based on firm qualifications, staff experience, applicable state project experience, approach and proposed methods, and project execution.
