Fairbanks North Star Borough FY 2027 Opioid Remediation Grant Services

The Fairbanks North Star Borough Health & Social Services Commission is soliciting applications for its FY 2027 Opioid Remediation Grant (RFA 27010-2). The program distributes opioid settlement funds to support prevention, treatment, harm reduction, and recovery activities serving high-risk individuals within the Fairbanks North Star Borough. Only non-profit organizations providing services in the Borough are eligible to apply. Applications must be submitted electronically via BidNet Direct. Round 1 Emerging Projects applications are due by August 27, 2026, at 4:00 PM, and Round 2 Continuing Projects applications are due by November 25, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Questions must be submitted online, or directed to David Bates via email or phone. Round 1 emerging project awards are capped at $35,000, while Round 2 continuing project awards are capped at $25,000. Total combined Borough Health and Social Services grant funding per agency is limited to $85,000. Proposals are scored by commission members, and applications averaging under 30 points will not receive funding.
