Candler County Board of Commissioners 2026-5 Recreation Concession Operations Proposal

The Candler County Board of Commissioners seeks proposals from qualified respondents to operate and maintain the Metter-Candler Recreation Department concession operations. The selected independent contractor will operate concession stands at the Metter-Candler Recreation Park in an at-risk arrangement, paying a seasonal lease fee while managing inventory, food preparation, staffing, sales, and business operations. The vendor must operate at least one concession location for all sanctioned recreation events across anticipated Spring and Fall seasons, maintaining at least one certified food safety manager on site during all operations. Eligibility is limited to USA organizations. Applicants must submit written proposals of no more than five pages by email to [email protected] by 3:00 p.m. EST on November 25, 2026, including "2026-5 Recreation Concessions Proposal" in the subject line. The county will evaluate proposals and select services based on available services, pricing, and the best interests of Candler County citizens.
