Artwork Conservation Services

The agency is seeking artists, artisans, fabricators, specialty contractors, art installers, creative trades specialists, cultural fabrication vendors, technical artists, art production technicians, or tradesmen to provide artwork conservation services. This opportunity addresses the need for the restoration, conservation, preservation, maintenance, and repair of various artworks. Bidders must possess experience in metalwork, welding, application of paint, coatings or protective materials, mosaic components, and concrete or cementitious materials work. The scope of work covers conservation projects for sculptures, murals, mosaics, sound or mixed-media installations, and architectural art elements. The project also encompasses the treatment of historic plaques, commemorative markers, functional art, textile or fabric-based works, and environmental or landscape integrated art. All performance of the work will take place offsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The agency is establishing a contract period that will run for five years. For the budget, the agency is currently looking for proposals and has not disclosed a specific funding limit.
