The Escambia County Road Department in Pensacola, Florida is seeking professional architectural services to support its facilities and building systems. The agency requires comprehensive architectural support for the planning, programming, design, and construction of its facilities. All services must align with the agency's mission and comply with all applicable laws, codes, regulations, and professional standards. The scope of work includes preparing Computer-Aided Design (AutoCAD) documents and creating presentation materials using Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools like Revit or other 3D rendering software. Bidders must submit design drawings for agency review at the thirty percent and ninety percent completion milestones, addressing all agency comments before issuing the final one hundred percent construction documents. Final deliverables must consist of complete hard copy sets alongside electronic PDF and AutoCAD files. The selected consultant will assist the agency in analyzing the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and recommend acceptance or rejection. The agency also requires standard bidding-phase services, including assistance during the solicitation, evaluation, and negotiation of construction bids. Throughout the entire duration of construction, including any weather delays or approved extensions, the consultant must provide contract services, conduct monthly site visits, and prepare written progress reports. Eligible bidders must be located onshore within the United States. All work must be performed onsite at the agency's location in Pensacola, Florida.
