Aircraft Training Service

The Texas Department of Public Safety in Austin, Texas, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive aircraft training services on an as-needed basis. The agency needs to ensure its personnel are fully proficient in helicopter operations for search and rescue, tactical enforcement, and emergency water evacuations. This training program aims to solve the critical need for specialized, high-level instruction that maintains the readiness and safety of the agency's aviation personnel. The scope of work covers a wide range of instruction, including initial certifications, airline transport pilot training, type ratings, and recurrent training. The selected provider must deliver hands-on instruction using various aircraft and simulators, as well as specialized hoist training. Additionally, the agency requires specific training modules focused on search and rescue operations, scenario-based exercises, and helicopter water egress training. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States. All training services and performance of the work must take place onsite at the designated agency locations. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget and cost structure for these services, and bidders must submit their pricing proposals accordingly.
