Private and Claims Investigator and Investigative Services

The Rhode Island Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Providence, Rhode Island is seeking private and claims investigator and investigative services. The agency needs to support its investigatory processes, specifically focusing on investigations of educator misconduct reports and human resource claims. The selected vendor will review incoming reports and supporting materials to develop comprehensive investigation plans. The scope of work requires conducting highly skilled investigative assignments, which includes interviewing complainants and witnesses. The investigator must maintain proficiency in criminal investigation techniques and current case law to ensure all duties are performed in an effective, legal manner. Additionally, the vendor must control, monitor, and communicate investigative progress to department leadership, making recommendations for the effective allocation of agency resources. The agency requires the maintenance of an accurate, confidential, and secure file management system for all investigative records. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The work may be performed onsite or offsite, but the vendor must have the capability to carry out the work within their own office location.
