Scope of work
- Complete mental health assessments for 100 percent of referred Veterans
- Provide written individual assessment identifying diagnoses and recommended care
- Provide individual and group mental health outpatient therapy
- Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities for Post Traumatic Stress and mental health disorders
- Conduct biopsychosocial and cognitive functioning evaluations
- Provide court testimony, affidavits, or documents related to treatment at no additional cost
- Bill available private insurance prior to requesting private pay rates
Minimum qualifications
- Unrestricted Texas license as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or associate under direct supervision of an LCSW-S, LPC-S, or LMFT-S
- All applicable facility, program, and individual licenses issued by the Texas Behavioral Executive Council (TxBHEC)
- At least one year of experience working with Veterans
- Evidence of previous experience in providing mental health assessments in the past two years
- At least three professional references
