Specialized Airfield Systems, Runway Equipment and Related Services

The government authority in Minnesota requires specialized airfield systems, runway equipment, and related services. This includes navigational aids such as airfield ground lighting, precision approach path indicators, visual approach slope indicators, runway end identifier lights, wind cones and tees, beacons, and closure markers. The authority also needs specialized airfield monitoring systems, including runway weather information systems, runway contaminant depth systems, foreign object detection systems, and automated weather observation systems. Additionally, airfield surface surveillance, situational awareness, and driver safety systems are required, such as Vehicle Movement Area Transmitters, Runway Incursion Warning Systems, in-cab moving map displays, and terrestrial ADS-B receivers. Performance of the work will be onsite. Vendors must be a USA Organization only. All questions must be submitted no later than August 31, 2026. Vendors must pay and register on the tendering authority's website to obtain the RFP document. The authority is looking for proposals.
