Solid Waste Removal Services

The Yakama Indian Health Center (YIHC) is seeking solid waste collection, disposal, and recycling services for its facility and annex in Toppenish, Washington. The agency requires a contractor to provide all labor, equipment, vehicles, containers, supervision, transportation, and materials necessary for routine waste removal. This service is essential to maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally compliant healthcare environment that supports uninterrupted clinical operations. The scope of work includes furnishing solid waste collection and recycling services, encompassing the rental, servicing, collection, transportation, and lawful disposal of solid waste and recyclable materials generated at the government facilities. Services shall include weekly collection of all designated containers and disposal of waste in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, Tribal, and local environmental regulations. The agency may also request additional non-recurring waste collection services for construction debris or similar materials on an as-needed basis. Eligibility for this opportunity is restricted to Onshore (US Organization Only) entities. The performance of the work will be conducted Onsite at the specified locations. The agency is requesting proposals to fulfill this requirement. The evaluation criteria will focus on the contractor's ability to meet performance standards, including timely collection, container condition, correction of missed pickups, disposal compliance, and invoice accuracy. Bidders must provide all waste and recycling containers identified in the Performance Work Statement, empty containers weekly unless otherwise directed, transport and dispose of waste at authorized facilities, and coordinate pickups with YIHC Maintenance personnel. Containers must be maintained in clean, safe, and serviceable condition, with damaged containers replaced at no additional cost unless caused by government negligence. Monthly invoices identifying services performed and estimated waste volumes collected are required. The required containers include one (1) 30-Cubic Yard Solid Waste Roll-Off Container and one (1) 3-Cubic Yard Recycling Container at the Yakama Indian Health Center, and one (1) 2-Cubic Yard Solid Waste Container at the Yakama Annex. The contract type is Firm-Fixed-Price, covering a Base Year plus four option years.
