Underground Utility Locating Services

The buyer requires a vendor to provide underground utility locating services to a government authority located in New York. The requested scope entails locating, identifying, marking, and digitizing underground utilities, cable, piping, valves, and tanks in Computer Aided Design (CAD) format. The contractor must locate these utilities within 18 horizontal inches of their actual position and mark them using lead-free, color-coded paint and five-inch by four-inch marking flags. If a vendor mismarks and strikes a utility line outside the 18-inch tolerance, the contractor assumes responsibility for all damage and repair costs. To qualify, the buyer sets aside this bid exclusively for Total Small Business and restricts eligibility to USA onshore organizations. The contractor will perform work both onsite and offsite. The buyer accepts digital submission responses via email or online and actively seeks proposals for the project budget.
