The buyer seeks a vendor to provide a weather forecasting solution capable of processing and visualizing polar-orbiting satellite data in extremely remote, degraded, and disconnected environments. The system must operate on limited local computing footprints, ingest raw data locally without high-bandwidth reach back, translate data into non-proprietary open formats, and deliver real-time polar satellite imagery and localized weather modeling directly to remote airfields. Software must support high-availability and rapid deployment on standard-issue backup workstations for Continuity of Operations activation, while visualizing wind data and different visible spectrum layers from polar satellite sensors. Only USA organizations operating onshore are eligible for this opportunity. The buyer requests proposals for the budget and requires offsite work performance.
