Fiber Optic Network Rebuild Service

The government authority in Washington, DC requires a vendor to provide a fiber optic network rebuild service at the Table Mountain Communications Test Site. The contractor must replace the Table Mountain fiber backbone containing Single Mode Fiber (SMF) and Multi-Mode Fiber (MMF) from I10C to all buildings on the site. To accomplish this, the vendor must run approximately 18 km of an armored, jacketed SMF optic cable comprising at least 432 fibers, or 216 transmit/receive pairs, and bury the cable underground next to the roads.
