RFI for Cooperative Development Service

The Development Co+operative invites proposals from experienced cooperative practitioners, educators, consultants, and subject matter experts to serve as instructors for the Development Co+operative University. Selected instructors will deliver engaging, hybrid two-hour instruction and conduct two-hour office hours across specific subject areas, including community, site, market, and financial feasibility, early-stage governance, and stabilization post-opening. Only global, world-wide onshore organizations are eligible, and performance of the work will take place offsite. Bidders must submit a single PDF proposal up to three pages via email to Allanah Hines by November 15, 2026, at 9:00 PM ET. A pre-bid informational webinar takes place on October 13, 2026, and applicants may direct questions to Allanah Hines through November 15, 2026. Evaluators will judge proposals based on interactive instructional approach, relevance to program goals, participant engagement, innovation, creativity, and subject matter expertise. Selected instructors will receive an honorarium of $2,000 per session to cover preparation, instruction, office hours, and coordination.
