Asset Tracking System

NHS Borders requires a vendor to provide a commercially supported asset tracking system that maintains a unique digital record and generates unique asset IDs for each in-scope asset. The system must support durable identification using QR codes, barcodes, BLE, RFID, or other proposed identifiers, distinguish inventory functionality from live or near-real-time location tracking, and support role-based access, secure authentication, and auditable workflows. The vendor must provide a structured compatibility assessment, clear solution architecture, component list, data-flow diagram, and support controlled data imports from eQuip or other files. Eligibility is limited to onshore UK organizations, and the work will be performed offsite. Vendors can submit proposals digitally via email or online, and all questions must be submitted no later than November 11, 2026. The buyer is currently seeking proposals for the budget and requires the solution to comply with agency digital, cybersecurity, information governance, and data protection review requirements prior to use.
