Audio Video System Upgrade Services

The City of Chico Public Works Department is seeking contractors to provide a comprehensive, turnkey audio and video system upgrade for the Fire Training Center / Emergency Operations Center. The required scope includes a complete system featuring displays, audio systems, structured cabling, control systems, integration, commissioning, and training, along with a fixed and handheld microphone system and acoustically modeled loudspeakers. Only USA-based onshore organizations with required California Contractors State License Board licensing and certifications are eligible to bid. Bidders must physically deliver sealed bids containing Bid Proposal Form pages BP-1 through BP-15, addenda, a Bid Bond, and proof of CSLB licensing via UPS, FedEx, courier, or hand delivery to 965 Fir Street, Chico, CA 95928. Bids are due by October 20, 2026, at 1:00 PM, and postmarks, USPS deliveries, emails, or faxes will not be accepted. An optional pre-bid conference is scheduled for October 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM, and all written questions or requests for information must be submitted by October 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
