South Africa - Design, Build and Support Integrated Data Management System

Sustainable Seas Trust (SST) requires a vendor to design, build, migrate data into, and support an integrated data management system. The system must cover the complete pathway from raw data capture to reporting, storing underlying source data, survey datasets, monitoring records, results-framework indicators, budget information, and reports. Offsite performance is required, and eligibility is restricted to onshore entities located in South Africa. Applicants must submit a full proposal containing a technical proposal with required advisory input, an itemized budget in Rands including VAT broken down by project phases, an estimated timing plan, a company profile with relevant experience and references, a signed non-disclosure agreement, and a valid BEE certificate or affidavit if applicable. Submissions must be delivered digitally via email or online. While the total project budget is not disclosed, SST caps the initial Phase 1 Advisory Note payment at 20% of the total quoted project cost or ZAR 250,000 including VAT, whichever is lower. Subsequent payments are tied to milestone sign-offs, and ongoing support beyond the primary phases must be quoted separately as an annual cost.
