Towing and Storage Services

The Los Angeles Police Commission is seeking proposals for LAPD RFP No. 26-980-004 to select a vendor to provide standard- and medium-duty towing and storage services as an Official Police Garage for Service Area 5 and its future subdivisions. Scope of work includes the recovery, towing, transport, and storage of vehicles weighing up to 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight rating, such as illegally parked, disabled, abandoned, seized, abated, or forfeited vehicles. Eligibility is limited to onshore USA organizations. Proposers must complete Business Inclusion Program outreach by December 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PST. Attendance at a mandatory in-person pre-proposal conference on October 29, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. PST is required, with an advance email notification deadline of October 22, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PST. Written questions must be submitted via email to [email protected] by December 3, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PST. Proposals must be submitted via email by December 17, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PST. Selected vendors must provide proof of required electronic insurance filings.
