Fiber Optic Cable Services

The government authority in Massachusetts requires a vendor to provide fiber optic cable services. The vendor must supply optical fibers coated with a dual-layer acrylate protective coating, proof-tested at a minimum of 100 kpsi, and placed inside 2.5 mm nominal outer diameter polypropylene loose buffer tubes. Additionally, the cables must feature dielectric rodent-resistant fiberglass armor, a rodent-resistant outer jacket, interlocking aluminum armor, or corrugated steel armor. Eligibility is limited to onshore vendors within the United States, and all work must be performed onsite. Applicants can submit proposals digitally via email or online, and the buyer is currently requesting proposal budgets.
