Advanced Metering Infrastructure Solution

Manitoba Hydro seeks pre-qualification submissions for the design, supply, configuration, integration, testing, commissioning, and deployment support of a utility-scale Advanced Metering Infrastructure solution. The scope includes advanced electric meters, communications infrastructure, a head-end system, a meter data management system, edge computing, end-to-end encryption, and future gas metering capabilities for Manitoba, Canada, while physical device installations are excluded. Eligible Canadian onshore organizations must submit signed non-disclosure agreements to obtain the full tender documents. Proponents must submit digital responses by October 23, 2026, while questions are due by October 16, 2026. Evaluators will assess mandatory technical criteria alongside rated criteria covering solution requirements, project and resource plans, and previous experience. Manitoba Hydro will select up to three pre-qualified proponents for a subsequent invitational stage to award a ten-year master service agreement with two optional five-year extensions.
