Traffic Safety Action Plan Services

The City of Rancho Cordova Department of Public Works is seeking professional consultant services to develop a Traffic Safety Action Plan. The selected vendor must establish a plan that incorporates the Safe System Approach into city operations, update the neighborhood traffic management program, execute a traffic safety data demonstration activity, and conduct ongoing stakeholder engagement. Eligible applicants are US onshore organizations operating as independent contractors. Proposals are evaluated based on factors including the firm's experience, project team, approach, deliverables, schedule, and available budget. Interested parties must submit all questions by October 23, 2026, and upload complete proposals through the City's OpenGov portal before 5:00 pm on November 13, 2026. Submittals must include a signed cover letter, an executive summary, firm experience with references, key methodologies, required assurance statements, a cost proposal, and a completed Caltrans 9-L Form, adhering to a 10-page limit for specified narrative sections.
