Grand Jury Stenographer Services

The Chautauqua County District Attorney's Office requires a qualified, experienced court reporter to provide in-person stenographic, court reporting, and transcription services for recurring grand jury proceedings in Mayville, NY. The selected contractor must furnish a qualified stenographer to attend sessions, accurately record and preserve testimony, identify speakers, and prepare certified transcripts. Only onshore USA organizations legally authorized to provide these services are eligible to submit proposals. Applicants must demonstrate experience with legal and grand jury proceedings, maintain appropriate professional liability insurance, and provide personnel with all required certifications. Applicants must submit questions in writing to Brandi McIntyre by October 27, 2026. Sealed proposals are due by 3:30 PM on November 17, 2026, to the Chautauqua County Finance Department, and must include a completed pricing schedule detailing session appearance fees, per-page transcript rates, cancellation fees, and mileage reimbursement.
