Engineering Architectural Consulting and Surveying Services

The City of East Orange is issuing a Request for Qualifications to obtain general engineering, architectural consulting, and surveying services for a one-year contract term. The selected vendor will perform administrative and professional work involving civil, architectural, environmental, mechanical, electrical, landscape architectural, and structural engineering. Scope activities include investigating, designing, constructing, and maintaining public works, supervising surveys, preparing plans and maps, assisting with capital budgets, inspecting projects, and reviewing planning and zoning board submissions. Firms offering onshore USA services are eligible to bid, with preference given to entities employing at least one Certified Municipal Engineer. Submissions must be uploaded electronically via the PlanetBids Procurement Portal by December 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM prevailing local time, with questions due by November 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Applicants must submit a Standardized Submission Form along with 19 required forms and administrative documents, including proof of appropriate federal and state licenses, a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate, EEO/Affirmative Action compliance evidence, professional qualifications, and four references.
