Managed Detection and Response, Extended Detection and Response, Security Information and Event Management Platform

Ferris State University seeks a vendor to provide a managed detection and response (MDR), extended detection and response (XDR), and security information and event management (SIEM) platform. The requested scope includes cross-domain threat detection, identity compromise monitoring, cloud-native architecture, 24x7x365 human monitoring, unified incident investigation, and integration with Microsoft Defender XDR and Sentinel. Performance of the work will be onsite. Only US organizations are eligible to bid. Proposals must be submitted electronically via Public Purchase by November 30, 2026, at 2 PM EST. Vendors must submit questions through the Public Purchase website by November 6, 2026, at 5 PM EST. Application materials must include a complete cost proposal, a signed Information and Disclosure Form, a signed Bid Response, and organizational data demonstrating capability. The evaluation criteria include cost structure, ability to meet requirements, bidder capability, execution timeline, vendor experience, and long-term service support. The contract term is three years, and insurance is required.
