Jail Medical and Psychological Services

Navajo County requires a vendor to provide medical, psychological, mental health, dental, optical, and pharmaceutical services for the Navajo County Jail in Holbrook, Arizona. Proposals must include specific staffing plans, an identified health authority, quality control systems, an emergency response plan, suicide prevention procedures, and protocols for health assessments, access to care, and drug or alcohol treatment. Only United States organizations are eligible to submit proposals. Eligible vendors must provide financial documentation, such as annual reports and audited financial statements for the last two years, or recent income tax returns. Prospective vendors must also demonstrate compliance with all minimum requirements stated in the request for proposals. A pre-submittal conference and site tour will take place on November 5, 2026. Interested vendors must submit all questions by November 12, 2026. The county will evaluate proposals based on compliance with RFP requirements, vendor qualifications, and the overall effectiveness and demonstrated performance of the applicant.
