Columbia School District Network Cabinet Upgrade and Telecommunications Distribution System Installation

The Jackson County Intermediate School District, on behalf of Columbia School District, is soliciting proposals for network cabinet upgrade services and telecommunications distribution system installations at Columbia Central Jr. / Sr. High School. The selected vendor must provide all parts, labor, and apparatus to upgrade internal connections between network wiring closets, mount and migrate existing cabling to larger specified cabinets, and conduct testing and acceptance. Only hook-and-loop fasteners are permitted for cable bundling, while plastic zip-ties are strictly prohibited. Eligibility is restricted to onshore USA organizations. Bidders must maintain an E-rate SPIN designation and comply with USF procedures, as the district is applying for category 2 E-rate funding. Mandatory insurance requirements include a minimum of $2,000,000 in general aggregate liability, naming the districts as additional insured. A pre-bid meeting took place on October 26, 2026, and all questions must be submitted no later than November 6, 2026. Proposals are being evaluated to determine the award, which will not necessarily go to the lowest bidder.
