City of Berkeley Gardening and Sustainability Education Classes Services Proposal

The City of Berkeley Health, Housing, and Community Services seeks competitive written proposals to provide gardening and sustainability education classes services at the West Berkeley Family Wellness Center. The selected vendor must conduct at least 24 hands-on garden workdays and 24 garden maintenance sessions, establish an on-site seed library, create garden signage, and plan, install, and adjust an irrigation system. The contractor must also supply all labor, tools, instructional materials, and supplies necessary to support community engagement, environmental stewardship, food literacy, and sustainable edible gardening. Only USA organizations are eligible to submit proposals. Applicants must submit a signed, firm, lump-sum proposal on company letterhead with itemized pricing, relevant experience, a proposed approach, and a schedule via email to [email protected] and [email protected] by November 6, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. The project carries a 12-month contract term starting July 1, 2027, with a total budget not to exceed $50,000.
