Idaho Department of Education Request for Information for SMART K-3 Literacy Coaching Services

The Idaho Department of Education is issuing this Request for Information to seek information from organizations capable of providing statewide, high-quality, in-person K–3 literacy coaching and related professional learning services aligned with the Idaho SMART Project. The requested scope includes deploying qualified coaches to work with educators, schools, and Department staff to strengthen evidence-based early literacy instruction grounded in the Science of Reading. Coaching services must support foundational reading skills, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, writing, data-driven instruction, and support for students with reading difficulties such as dyslexia. Only USA-based organizations are eligible to respond. Interested parties must prepare submissions using Appendix A in PDF format and submit them electronically via email or online. The deadline to submit questions is November 4, 2026, at 4:00 pm MT, while written questions noted elsewhere in the RFI are due by November 11, 2026, at 4:00 pm MT. Final RFI responses must be received electronically before the closing time of November 11, 2026, at 4:00 pm MT.
